About WagonWash

We have received many enquiries about our new WagonWash range, so we hope that the answers below help explain a little more about our manufacturing, pricing and strategy.

Q: Who are the manufacturers?

WagonWash is manufactured by Unicorn Chemicals Ltd, a company based in Blackpool that has been supplying speciality maintenance and industrial chemicals to UK manufacturing companies since 1963.  To view the extensive range of chemicals we manufacture and supply visit www.uchem.co.uk.

Q: How good is WagonWash?

WagonWash is actually a higher performance product than most Truckwash/TFR's on the market.  There are far higher levels of surfactants in WagonWash than all the TFR's we have surveyed.  

We believe that WagonWash is 'as good' as any product currently in the market though our customers consistently tell us that WagonWash is better!

Q: Can I have a sample?

Yes.  20 litre samples are available on request.  You pay only for the carriage, if you collect it's free!

Q: How can you sell WagonWash so cheap?

WagonWash pricing is volume driven and we are marketing WagonWash on 'price'.  

Our monthly production is now running in excess of 100,000 litres and in using our innovative manufacturing techniques we can produce high quality products at a fraction of the price of our competitors.  WagonWash products are 'as good' as any product currently in the market and has the added benefit of giving you a cost saving of up to 30%.

If you can buy an equivalent product at lower prices then we want to know about it.  If genuine, we will even better their prices.

Q: Are volumes limited?

We currently have 1,000,000 litres of product in our production schedules.  We doubt that we will ever be short of stock!

Q: Can we make bespoke formulations?

Yes, but volumes will have to be in excess of 5,000 litres.

Q: What's the difference bewteen WagonWash and WagonWash eXtra?

The WagonWash eXtra range is a series of high foaming, highly effective 'Super Concentrates'.  The particular blend of surfactants and additives has been designed to reduce surface tension and provide eXtra cleaning power to remove the most stubborn of soilings including bitumen and heavy greases.
